Basic non-magical fantasy novel telling the story of an orphan who is caught up in a scheme to secretly usurp the throne. Funny and somewhat touching. If you liked The Thief by MWT you will like this book too; the main characters had very similar ways of expressing themselves. It's the kind of book you will not be able to put down once you start. Also, apparently it did well on some national list or something; I don't know which but that's why my mom got it for me so, hey.
Rating? Very good.
Read again? Yes. Actually almost started reading it again the second I finished it.
